BERGHAUS
Berghaus was born is 1966, when two keen climbers from the UK, Peter Lockey and Gordon Davison decided to open a store that sold the sort of outdoor products that met their own exacting needs. Berghaus, in German, loosely means 'mountain hut' and has developed it's range of equipment, from it's mountaineering and climbing routes to a whole range of outdoor gear for a multitude of sports.

In 1994, Berghaus launched its first footwear collection. Using the Attak sole unit, the Storm was easily the most popular of the new range and, bar a few changes, it is essentially the same boot today. The Storm was soon regarded as the definitive, three season fabric hiking boot and has since been used by adventurers on trails and hills on every point of the compass.
