Part 4 Backpacking Boots by Nutnfancy
In this series I cover key features of backpacking boot construction to help you in your purchase decision. I may have left some things out but I cover the important parts. I don't review specific boots and probably won't ever: models change frequently and it's just logistically impossible for me now. Using the info I provide here just give a good basis for getting the right heavy duty hiking boot. ** Please do not PM me with questions about specific boot models and what would be good for ...

awesome keep these kind of videos going pleasee
Sorry dude I meant to give you a thumbs up.
Nutnfancy, ever think of designing a boot with a company?
i agre the water proof steel toey gortex stuff i dont need.
finally something i can really use, great work
can you show us how to break in boots i bought grade one boots from a frend like 1 year ago and i get blisters from it, but i bought new ones and ive never had a blister form them
if you’re getting blisters from the ones your friend gave you, you’re probably not getting the right support…ie – you may need a stronger/longer shank like fancy’s been talkin about
oh ok i thought it would be because they wer borke in by someone elce and they had diffren hsep feet. anyway thanks for the advice
Okay so you’ve answered my question from prior videos in this series as to the oil. Where do you get the silicone?
most people’s wet feet are due to their pants, not their boots.
i know people that returned/exchanged their +$300 goretex boots because their feet got wet in tall, damp grass.
haha. dumbasses.
rooftopeagle-if he means the spray, you can get it almost anywhere, even walmart has it.(i use it on my gators.)
